Cracked heels? Meet your new best friend...

The Sole Shaver easily removes 0.5mm of skin per pass without scrubbing and irritating your heels further. With no risk of making cracked heels worse this is the best option to remove that initial thick skin.

Why the Sole Shaver works so well:

  1. Easily removes 0.5mm of skin each pass.
  2. High-quality stainless steel blade for fast controlled removal of dead skin.
  3. Removes very tough skin other tools just won't remove.
  4. Easy to replace blades. Replace these often, sharper blades are less likely to cut too deep.
  5. Reusable and easy to clean.

A key part of the Sole Saver kit!

Who it's for: Tradies, farmers, hunters, hikers, nurses – anyone who spends long days on their feet and wants practical results.

Safety notes:
External use only. Do not use on open wounds, infections, or deep fissures. If diabetic or have poor circulation, check with your podiatrist first. Replace blades regularly to keep them sharp.

Be careful not to remove too much skin too quickly, this can make your heels sensitive for a few days until they adjust.

Do not press down hard or pull across skin quickly, controlled slow removal is key for safety to avoid any cuts.

Product Care: Rinse with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly, store in a dry place. Replace blades frequently.

This is the tool that completes the Sole Shield system. Grab it on its own or get better value with the Sole Saver Kit.

Results

Most people notice smoother, more comfortable heels in 7–14 days with consistent use and significantly better after 30 days of using the Sole Saver Kit.

Directions

Hardworking feet build up thick, rough skin fast. This professional Skin Shaver is the safe, effective tool to remove it without the guesswork or damage. Quickly removes very thick skin.

  1. Soak feet in warm water for 5–10 minutes to soften skin.
  2. Gently glide the shaver over thick areas – short strokes, don't press hard.
  3. Focus on heels and balls of feet. Work carefully over cracked skin and never use on broken bleeding skin.
  4. Follow immediately with Heel Rescue Balm and cotton socks.
  5. Use 1-2 times per week max initially until skin is back to young pliable skin.

Be careful not to remove too much skin too quickly as this will make your heels tender for a few days.

3-Step Heel Revival Process

This is how hardworking Kiwis fix cracked heels and thick skin on feet properly:

  1. Prepare & Soften — Warm soak or a thin layer of Heel Rescue Balm to soften the hard skin.
  2. Shave / Remove — Use the Skin Shaver to gently plane away the thick, dead skin and calluses. This clears the barrier.
  3. Repair & Lock In — Apply Heel Rescue Balm generously, then pull on these Moisture-Locking Heel Socks overnight.

EB

Ethan

Builder

“Fifteen years on the tools and my heels were proper rough — thick skin, cracks that stung every morning. Did the full process exactly as told: warm soak to soften, Skin Shaver on short light strokes to clear the dead stuff, then thick layer of the tallow balm and cotton socks every night. After 9 days the cracks had closed up and I could walk without dragging my feet.”

JD

Josh

Dairy Farmer

“Dry wind and long days in the paddocks had my heels cracked bad — jandals one minute, gumboots the next. Followed Taylors advice and used the heel shaver to get rid of the skin, followed by the balm and socks. Skin is looking and feel much better.”

SN

Diane

Nurse

“Twelve-hour shifts wrecked my heels every winter, mainly when the skin dried out. Pharmacy creams never lasted. Followed the Sole Shield process: soak to soften, Skin Shaver to clear the thick skin, then balm with socks every night. After a month the splitting stopped and my heels felt miles better. Balm smells great too!”

DR

Dean

Road Works

“Long shifts with the crew sealing roads and standing on hot asphalt wrecked my heels — thick skin splitting in my boots every day was brutal. Followed the Sole Shield process: soak to soften, Skin Shaver to clear the build-up, then Heel Rescue Balm with cotton socks overnight. The process works well and I use the pumice stone regularly to stop it thickening again.”
